Terrance and Mary Boyle’s farm is located in Tracadie, Antigonish County and Forever Green Organic Farm and Gardens consists of 600 acres of crop land used to grow forages and pasture for their herd of beef, flock of sheep and hogs. Ten acres of vegetables are grown for fresh market sales through the Antigonish and Mabou Farmers’ Markets.
All of the Boyle’s meat products are grass fed and pasture raised, and free from hormones and antibiotics. Their vegetables are grown under organic practices and standards. The farm is also the site of a composting facility that services the fishing industry in Northern Nova Scotia, turning waste into a valuable soil amendment.
