Chef Gary Kent returned home to Yarmouth 1997 and has been a well-known caterer within the community since that time. With experience both at White Point Beach Resort on Nova Scotia’s south shore, and as the Sous Chef at Milford House Lodge in the Annapolis Valley, Gary also co-hosted “The Sweet Life” cable TV cooking show for 12 years, and continues to teach cooking classes at the Yarmouth Atlantic Superstore. He opened Vincent at the Market in the Yarmouth Farmers Market and that led to the development and production of ‘Vincent Yogurt Food Dressings’ which are now sold at many stores including Pete’s and at local restaurants .
